Black Ink Crew (also known as Black Ink Crew: New York) is an American reality television series that airs on VH1 and debuted on January 7, 2013.[1] It chronicles the daily operations and staff drama at an African American-owned and operated tattoo shop in Harlem, New York.[2]

The spinoff Black Ink Crew: Chicago premiered October 26, 2015. On July 24, 2019, the series was renewed for an eighth season, which premiered on August 14, 2019.
